The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) published an updated rating of national teams. The Armenian national team is in the 83rd place. Compared to the previous publication, the Armenian national team has risen by 4 places, the press service of the Basketball Federation of Armenia reports.
The Austrian national team, included in the same subgroup as the Armenian national team of the first round of pre-election for the 2027 World Cup, is in 65th place, while Albania is in 99th place.
The Armenian national team will hold the first match of the qualifying round of the World Championship on February 22, 2024, against Austria.
